IDFIXER ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, and account credentials at registration, and identity data you submit for verification, enrollment, and personalization services (e.g. NIN, BVN, TIN, and CAC numbers, and related biodata, biometrics, and photos where applicable). We also collect transaction data (wallet funding, dedicated virtual account details, service purchases), technical data (IP address, device/browser information, activity logs), and any information you submit through support requests or general service requests.
Because our Service involves NIN, BVN, and related identity verification, we handle sensitive personal data. We only submit this data to the specific government or partner systems (e.g. NIMC, banking, telecom networks) necessary to fulfil the request you initiate, and we store verification results and supporting files in restricted storage separate from our public web application, accessible only to authorized personnel and system processes.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: (a) government and partner systems strictly to complete the verification or telecom service you request; (b) payment processors to complete transactions; (c) service providers who support our infrastructure (e.g. hosting, email delivery) under confidentiality obligations; (d) law enforcement or regulators where required by law.
We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, and regulatory record-keeping obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud. Verification slips and related files are retained to allow you to re-download them, subject to the expiry periods shown on your dashboard.
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, rate limiting, and storage of sensitive files outside the public web root. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Subject to applicable law (including the Nigeria Data Protection Act), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or object to certain processing, by contacting support@idfixer.com.ng. Note that some identity data cannot be deleted where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory reasons, or where deletion would affect records already submitted to a third-party system on your instruction.
We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect functionality.
Our Service may link to third-party websites (e.g. payment providers, WhatsApp support). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies.
The Service is not directed at children under 18. Where identity services are used on behalf of a minor (e.g. NIN enrollment for a child), the submitting adult is responsible for ensuring lawful consent to process that data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably practicable, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how your data is handled, contact us at support@idfixer.com.ng or 234-208-343-4363.
