Welcome to IDFIXER. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the IDFIXER website, dashboard, and API (collectively, the "Service"), operated by IDFIXER ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By registering, you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you are using the Service for lawful purposes.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@idfixer.com.ng if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or are used in violation of these Terms.
IDFIXER provides identity verification and modification services (including NIN verification, modification, suspension, and validation; BVN verification, modification, and retrieval; CAC services; vNIN/NIBSS lookups; TIN registration; attestation letters), NIN enrollment and personalization support (Instant IPE and NIN IPE clearance, including bulk requests), telecom services (airtime, data bundles, PUK retrieval, SIM proxy swap, self-service and all-sim delinking), a Developer API for programmatic access, and related utilities, subject to availability. Some services depend on third-party government or partner systems (e.g. NIMC, banks, telecom operators) and their availability, accuracy, and turnaround times are outside our control.
Certain services require a prepaid wallet balance or direct payment. You may fund your wallet by card/bank transfer or via a dedicated virtual account generated for your profile. Prices displayed on the platform are subject to change without prior notice. All payments are processed through our approved payment partners; we do not store your full card or bank details. Wallet funding is generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
Where a paid transaction fails due to a fault on our end or that of our upstream provider (e.g. a service returns an error and no result is delivered), the amount charged will typically be refunded to your wallet automatically or upon review. We do not refund for incorrect information submitted by you, for results that are accurate but not what you expected, or for delays caused by third-party government systems.
You agree not to: (a) use the Service to submit or verify identity information you are not authorized to access; (b) attempt to defraud, impersonate, or misrepresent identity; (c) reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its APIs beyond documented use; (d) use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering or circumventing regulatory checks. We reserve the right to suspend accounts and report suspected fraudulent activity to relevant authorities.
API access is granted subject to a valid API key and the rate limits, pricing, and endpoints documented on our API Reference page. API keys are personal to your account and must not be shared or exposed publicly. We may revoke API access for abuse, excessive load, or violation of these Terms.
Verification results are retrieved from government and partner databases. While we take reasonable steps to ensure accurate delivery of results, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data returned by third-party sources, and we are not liable for decisions made based on such data.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IDFIXER and its officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or as required by law. You may close your account at any time by contacting support.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably practicable.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
